It's been such an exciting year around here! The majority of my time is spent teaching art and sharing its joys with the community. I'm so thankful that I get to do what I love, from hosting fun Paint & Sip parties to spending time in my new studio space creating special pet portraits for fellow animal lovers. I'm enjoying my second year of teaching homeschool and look forward to January when I'll begin instructing a new collegiate watercolor class!
As often as I can, I ride my favorite horse "Bookey" on the trails of Huntington Beach. And I tried a new thing for me this year- a real vacation! Took my first trip out of the U.S. in 10 years, and the beaches of Cancun have inspired me to keep this travel kick alive in 2018.
Also coming up, I'm super excited to announce the project of a lifetime! I've been working on this for over a year, and it's my biggest dream ever about to come to life. You all know I love kids, animals, and art, right? So I've founded a project that rallies those passions together in a novel way, to meet real needs in our community. Here's a little sneak peek at what's to come! This is a HUGE undertaking for me, and it's already taking all the courage I can muster. I know I'll need lots of assistance and loving support. So... lemme know what you think!
Here's to daring to courageously pursue our dreams, and living this life to the fullest! Merry Christmas to you and your family from Salem (and Bookey).
